A study of the links in the Wikipedia that made history

In fact, they can be considered a mirror of the global collective memory. The Social Media research line of Barcelona Media has analyzed biographies of people on Wikipedia using the links between them to detect influential characters in fifteen different linguistic communities. ICE3 brings teaching materials with automatic correction into the classroom

[Apr 02, 2012] The ICE3 project (Integrating Calls Early Education Environment), coordinated by Barcelona Media and funded by the Lifelong Learning programme, promotes language learning in Primary and Secondary schools. The aim is to foster and help teachers to generate teaching/learning content with automatic correction, which offers the student an explanation about their answer, both from a linguistic standpoint and also from a content standpoint. With the information provided by this tool, the students will be able to improve their knowledge of the language. [read +]
